Shadow screamed in horror as he saw Cinder hurt; he ran, launching himself at the butcher and knocking him down. He was face to face with the butcher, showing all of his teeth, which were much sharper than those of a normal wolf. The butcher fainted from fright, and Shadow quickly ran over to Cinder; "No!! Hang on, Cinder, I'll get you to help!!" he howled, hoisting her on his back.

"Wah...? Huh...?" she said, her vison getting blury and and double, from her hunger and now her new injury.

ooc: Well, if you saw a 10-foot long and 4-foot tall wolf showing all his teeth right in your face, what would you do? XD

Shadow ran as fast as he could; he saw the sign for a vet at the end of the street. Luckily, Cinder's cut was shallow, but it was affecting her more because of her hunger. Hopefully the vet would be as nice as the one in Nome, and take care of her when they saw her condition.

err, do you want to act as the vet? ^^;

The vet was suprised to see a huge dog with an oragne wolf on his back, barking hystericlly. She took them in, saw Cinder wound, cleaned it, and put a huge bandage on it. Hoping that the dog could understand her, she said "Now don't let her do much physical activity, for it could open up the bandage and open the wound again." And lay cinder back on the floor, passed-out from hunger.

"Hm... she seems real hungry." the vet said, and got a hug chunk of meat out of the cupboard for occasions like things, put it in froun of Cinder's nose, and Cinder literally inhaled it and smiled at the vet as a gesture of "MOre?"

Shadow nodded to indicate that he understood, and let Cinder eat as much as she needed; he wanted to let the vet know in some way who had hurt her.

"Oh, did that god-darned butcher get you?" she sadi with her country accent. "He hates wolves, so never bother him again." she said pattning Cinder and giving her many more loads of meat that she could find.

"As soon as you finish, i suggest you get out. The community here are very feared of wolves, and if they see one, they'll have to sue me." she said, with a warm, somewhat laughing, smile.

Shadow nodded, surprised that the town was afraid of wolves, what with his father's status and all. He whispered to Cinder that he would have to carry her for a while, until her wound completely healed.

Cinder smiled, rostered her streangth, and got up. "That means i can chew on your ears all i want!" she exclaimed. She looked at the vet with pure gratitude, and hopped on his back. "Let's go!"

Shadow nodded, giving the vet an affectionate lick before they left and snuck out of town. "Let me know if you smell anything... besides my ears," he said with a giggle.

Cinder tirely chewed his ears. Mostly just putting them in her mouth and sucking them. "Okay."

Shadow smiled warmly, looking for a place to stay until morning; hopefully, Cinder would be healed by then.

Shadow looked to see an unbelievably thick tree, around ten feet in diameter. "Well, I was thinking about a cave or something, but that works fine," he said, glad that Cinder was staying alert.

Cinder plopped on the ground, her body seeming to be weak, but she wasn't as weak as she was, since she had her fill of meat.

Shadow laid against Cinder and curled his tail around to keep her warm; "Are you tired at all?" he asked; he had gotten plenty of sleep on the train.
