Ely smirked slightly, almost in a sad manner, but not quite.
"Ah, just the usual things; eat, march to mating grounds, find a mate, have chicks; you know, that kind of thing. Just needed to get away from all that. Well, I know I'm still too young to do all that, but... yeah, it's also just more than I want to think about right now..."

"Nah, I'm just not the most popular specimen to the girls. The scars are a bit offputting, I generally find I just get pity over them. But, there is one girl... but neither of us are ready for all that, so we're just really close friends right now."
