Moonstar smiled and breathed in the cold, fresh air. She was running, feeling the icy, cold wind whip through her fur. She loved this feeling.

Elysium ran, too. He wanted some time away from his family and friends. True, he loved them, but he really just needed a break sometimes. They overwhelmed him on occasion. So, he ran to take a break.

Moonstar looked over to see another wolf running not too far away from her. She wasn't sure if he was nice or mean, so, she kept running and waited to see what he would do.

Moonstar smiled to herself as the male kept his distance. She moved closer to him, and then, suddenly, sped up and shot off like a bullet, hoping he understood her want for a race.

Elysium saw the female stopping, and ground himself to a halt as well. He toppled over a few times due to the suddenness of the stop, but when that stopped, he stood up casually and strode towards the female.
"Quite a race you gave me there. What is your name? I am Elysium."

Moonstar nodded, even though she was nervous. Her father would be furious if he found out she was running with another wolf from another pack, a male wolf, an Alpha, male wolf.

She sniffed the air. She smelled something. Something smelling really good.

"Follow me." she suddenly said, and took off.

Moonstat smelled elk, one of her favorites. The two came up to a small herd. There was a sick one in there, and she as aiming for that one.

Moonstar ran into the herd, dividing it. All of them ran away, but the sick one couldn't keep up. Moonstar held him off so he couldn't run away.
