HOUSE PARTY!!! LET'S BOOGIE!!!

Romulus laughed, a bone chilling chuckle that burned your ears to hear. "You pitiful being. Filthy vermin. Weak, powerless. So delicate. So breakable..." His breath hissed between his clenched jaws.

Shadow laughed defiantly, his tail swishing in a mocking manner; "Pitiful? At least I had the guts to take on an enemy by myself. You needed help to catch her, and you say I'm pitiful, you freak?" He thrashed his tail against Romulus' leg, hoping to distract him from what he was planning to do.

Shade froze, her ears pricking at the scream. She looked ahead, then back. Romulus has him now...you cannot help him anymore. Shade looked at the sky, her eyes tearing up. No...."NOO!!!!" Shade howled, her claws digging into the ground. She looked around as a red haze clouded her vision. Her eyes dimmed to white, a glow surrounded her. She whirled around and ran towards the scream.

(ooc: Ooh, I wanna see how Romulus reacts to what Shadow just said and did O_O )

Romulus snarled, applying pressure where his massive paw was on Shadow's throat. "You, and all like you will die. You think I am the only one of my kind. You dont even know what Namine is capable of."

ooc: Namine is pronounced Nominay.

Shadow gasped for air, his paws frantically kicking in the air; "I don't care what your kind is like, you're a freak, plain and simple!" he coughed. He began to thrash his long tail in Romulus' face, hoping that it may blind him if it hit his eyes.

Romulus growled, closing his eyes momentarily and jumping back, shaking his head to clear his vision. He opened his red eyes, and hissed, "I will not be defeated by rats! I will kill you, then I will kill Namine, and then the world will finally be restored. Pure, free of vermin and filth!" Romulus leapt forward, snapping his jaws shut on Shadow's shoulder.

Shadow howled in agony as Romulus' teeth pierced his shoulder and connected with the bone; he thrashed his tail with unbelievable speed, trying to repeat the same tactic to blind Romulus again with his tail; "What makes you think we're the vermin when there are heartless abominations like you?!" he screamed, tears running down his face. He felt his tail hitting the top of Romulus' head; hopefully it would work again...

Shade roared, bursting through the bushes and plowing into Romulus at full speed. Romulus fell back, rolling head over paws. He stumbled to his paws, blood trickling from his lip. He smiled and growled, "Ah. Namine. You've decided to join us, then." Shade snarled, her eyes white and the black glow licking the air around her like fire.

"Shade..." Shadow mumbled, his shoulder felt like it was on fire, but the adrenaline from the pain was helping him stand up. With a howl like a battlecry, he sprinted towards Romulus, who was facing away from him; he leapt onto Romulus' back, ran towards his large head, and bit down as hard as he could on the joint of Romulus' left wing.

(fyi: for future reference, in this position, Shadow's tail is probably going to be around Romulus' face; I don't know why, but it'd be interesting if while Shadow's latched onto the wing, Romulus 'stretches him out' if you catch my drift O_O )

ooc: Like,Romulus grabs him(Shadow) and stretches him. Like, pulling him apart? o.o

ooc: not quite that extreme; like, he'll bite Shadow's tail, and starts lifting his wings; since Shadow's latched onto one, it'll be pulling on his tail REALLY hard O_O

ooc: Oh. I can do that.

bic: Romulus flapped his wings, grabbing Shadow and lifting his wings. He pullled and pulled, his eyes dancing with glee as Shadow screamed. Shade gasped and roared, leaping at Romulus and burying her tetth into his right wing. Her steel jaws snapped shut, resulting in a short, satisfying breaking sound.

Shadow screamed in pain as it felt like his tail would be pulled off; he heard cracks coming from parts of it being broken by the pressure; he finally released his grip, so that Romulus was now holding him in the air by his tail, Shadow's twitching figure swaying in the air, uncontrollable howls and yelps coming from his mouth as Romulus broke even more bones in his tail by biting down harder.

(ooc: I've got to go out to dinner, be back in around an hour D8 Any chance that you'll be on again before the night's up? )

ooc: IDK. If I am, we will continue.

ooc: Kay, I'm back

ooc: Woot!

bic: Romulus howled in pain as his right wing broke, and, dropping Shadow, he used his left wing and smacked Shade in the head with it, sending her sliding across the ground. She came to a sudden stop as her head slammed against a rock. She didnt move again.

"Shade!" Fueled again by his adrenaline, Shadow sprinted over to her motionless body, nudging her with his snout in an attempt to wake her until he heard Romulus coming. He turned around, using his tail to block Shade from harm; "What kind of monster are you..." he said, tears running down his face; "A truly divine species wouldn't seek the eradication of others; your hate has made you more of a monster than I thought. Trying to kill someone like Shade... you're repulsive..." he sobbed, staring Romulus straight in the eyes, covering Shade with his tail to shield her.

Romulus laughed, shouting with jubilation and triumph. "She's dead! I've done it!" He turned to Shadow, grinning. "ANd I know just what to do with you. I'll allow you to live." He hissed in Shadow's face, "After all, I couldnt have killed her without your help, Shadow." And with that, Romulus turned and raced away, dissapearing into the night.

"NOOOO!!!" Shadow screamed; "I'd rather die!! Come back here and finish me, you coward!!!" He turned to Shade; "Shade... please wake up..." he sobbed, laying his head on the ground near hers. He nudged her and licked her for almost five minutes straight, tears streaming down his face the entire time; "Please... You saved my life, you can't die..." He covered her with his tail to shield her from the cold, from anything; "Please!..." he tried to howl in sorrow, but it turned into another choking sob. He buried his face in her fur, using his body to hide her from view, he cried himself to sleep, hoping he would wake up to find everything all better.

Off in the distance, Romulus' voice could be heard, singing an old lymrick. "A wolf that fights and runs away lives to fight another day!"

Shadow had a dream for the first time in ages; he was literally tearing Romulus limb from limb, returning the suffering he had caused Shadow and Shade a hundredfold. Shade was sitting off to the side, cheering him on.

ooc: See ya

ooc: Wait! I have a few more minutes!

bic: For what must have seemed like hours, Shade lay unmoving, barely breathing at all. Suddenly, her back leg twitched.

Shadow was so tired from the fight and from crying for Shade that he didn't notice her movement at all; he was in the same unmoving state that she had been in, his breathing barely noticeable as he slept, his fur matted in various places by his blood, and a couple of white spots on his tail where the bone could be seen underneath large gashes.
