HOUSE PARTY!!! LET'S BOOGIE!!!

Rikku, her eyes squeezed tightly shut, felt the wind rush at her, and gripped Shadow's shoulders even tighter.

Shadow glanced back at Rikku for a moment while he was running; "Are you doing okay?" he asked her.

"Yeah." She said through clenched jaws, "Just keep going."

Shadow smiled; "Okay," he said, now reaching the foot of the mountain Rikku had told him about. He ran up the mountain, swiftly dodging any obstacles in his path; within ten minutes, they were at the top.

The top of the mountain was flat, like a wall, the ground covered by ash and the smell of fire and rotting corpses filling the air around them. Rikku slid off Shadow's back, standing next to him. She stared ahead, her eyes lock on the army on the ground below. She followed the flow of them, until she saw from where they were coming. At the foot of a massive volcano,, large black metal gates swung open, more imps and soldiers pouring out of its maw. Rikku pointed toward the firey hole with her paw. "Hellgates."

Shadow nodded; "I'm going to return to my normal form; I may give us away in this form," he whispered, shrinking back to his normal size. He looked at Rikku; "So, I'm guessing we have to go in there..." he said.

ooc: lol, what was with the sudden text color change? xD And did Rikku just shove Shads onto the ground next to her, or down into the pit?

ooc: They both have noticable fur. We'll roll in the ash and it'll turn our fur black, so the imps wont kill us. *unicorn voice* We gotta be sneaky. We gotta be sneaky, Shadow. Sneaky.

ooc: That was why you changed to gold text? o_O

bic: Shadow was about to protest, but he quickly realized what she was planning. He nodded, and closing his eyes, buried his head under the ash to darken his fur.

ooc: Gold txt? IDK...I just did.

bic: Rikku rolled around in the ashes and cinders, and when she stood up, her fur was very dark gray, and she whispered, "Now we can go around that army without being noticed."

Shadow got up as well, his fur like Rikku's when he thought of something; "Rikku, my tail isn't going to make them suspicious, is it?" he asked.

"Nah. Some Wraiths are bigger than your tail. Youre fine." And with that, she began the slow climb down the edge.

Shadow slowly climbed down with her; "Man, what makes up this ash, dead bodies?" he said, holding back a sneeze.

Rikku didnt speak. There was no need to.

Shadow nodded, knowing he ought to be quiet as well. He trekked slowly down into the pit with Rikku, hoping he wouldn't slip in the ash.

It took hours of ducking and sneaking along the darkness for Rikku and Shadow to get halfway through the massive army of demons. Rikku looked up. The sky was cover by dark clouds, so it was impossible to tell what time it was.

Shadow looked over at Rikku, relieved that no one had noticed them, and even more relieved in a sense that they had finally reached Hellgate.
