Don't worry, I gotta weed the yard, mow the lawn, and do the laundry before i get on the computer. What sucks tho is that it's a half-hour time limit. >> It's like the computer is a chunk of gold.

Shadow stretched and nuzzled Rikku's neck fur; as he stretched, one of his tasty paws ended up sticking out of the opening to the den, vulnerable to anyone who may be outside.

As Shadow's paw stuck obnoxiously out of the den, a tiny pair of green eyes watched from the shadows. Rikku chuckled, shaking her fur. "Stop it! That tickles." SHe said, giggling as she squeezed past SHadow and out of the den.

Shadow laughed; "What, giving up already?" he giggled, wagging his tail.

Rikku glanced at Shadow over her shoulder and looked thoughtful. "Hm...yup!" She said, smiling and walking away with a deft flick of her tail.

Shadow rolled his eyes, then inched his way out of the den; his rear end tended to get stuck in the entrance hole to their part of the den. "C'mon, don't be like that Rikku; admit it, you were having fun," he said warmly as he caught up to her.

Rikku shrugged. "Maaybe..." She said teasingly as she glanced over at him again. "We'll have to make a sidestop. I have to go see Meadow."

Shadow tilted his head; "Do you feel sick or something?" he asked curiously, hoping Rikku wasn't ill.

Rikku thought carefully about this for a second. "Eh...not really. Just a precaution, thats all." She said as she ducked into his den. "Better wait out here!"

Shadow nodded and sat down outside the den, his tail twitching nervously.

Rikku sat in the middle of the den, stunned beyond words. Pregnant? But HOW?!?! SHe stood silently and padded out of the den, brushing past SHadow and walking across the camp.

Shadow tilted his head and followed Rikku; "What's up? You look troubled," he said as he padded next to her.

Rikku sat in the shade on the far end of the camp, contemplating how to break the news to SHadow. What's he gonna think? "Um...SHadow...there's something I gotta tell you...." Rikku shuffled her paws awkwardly.

Shadow tilted his head; "Okay, shoot," he said, wondering what was troubling her.

Rikku shut her eyes quietly, bowing her head and flattening her ears. "Uhm....well.....I...." She clenched her jaws and squeezed her eyes shut, growling quietly. "I..I'm pregnant..."

Shadow's eyes widened, but he quickly returned them to a calmer look; "H-how is that possible?" he asked in surprise; "We've never done... well, you know," he said awkwardly.

Rikku blushed slightly. "Well...I dunno...maybe we just dont remember it?" She said hopelessly, knowing what he was probably thinking.
