HOUSE PARTY!!! LET'S BOOGIE!!!

Shadow was more scared than ever now, but he obeyed Shade's directions, and slowed himself to a walk, panting with exhaustion.

Shade ran and ran, twigs and leaves crunching underpaw. SHe crashed through bushes and couldnt stop in time. She slammed into Shadow at full speed, rolling them head over paws into ithe leaves.

Shadow gasped for breath; Shade had knocked the wind out of him, but he didn't care. In fact, some of his fears were becoming more mild just from being with her again. Much like when they had awoken earlier, Shade was lying on his chest; "Whew... are you okay, Shade?" he asked her nervously.

Shade looked up, and saw Shadw. SHe gasped, burying her face in his fur. Her body shook with the tears that now fell freely from her eyes. She murmured into his fur, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..."

Shadow blushed a little, embarrassed that Rikku may come looking for them; "What's wrong, Shade? I thought we were trying to do what was best for us," he whispered in her ear; he rested his muzzle on one of her cheeks, letting her tears fall onto it and slide off of his nose.

(ooc: I've gotta go eat dinner, be back in a while! <3 )

ooc: Okay, we've got to go take our dog for a walk, so I'll be on in 10-15 minutes; feel free to continue

ooc: Hurry back, Shads, I'll be watching Buffy.

SHade looked at Shadow through tear-filled green eyes. "I was horrible. I pushed you away when I should have let you in."

Shadow looked innocently back at her, and rubbed his nose against hers; "You weren't being mean, you just did what you thought was best. We're both looking out for each other, and that's what matters," he said, wiping away one of her tears with the tip of his tail.

Shade sat up, her face clear now. Her resolve and determination had never been stronger.

bic: Shadow sat up as well; "Much better," he crooned, rubbing his nose against hers again; he never liked seeing her cry.

Shade looked around, her ears pricked. "Shh..." She said, getting to her paws. "Dont move."

Shadow listened intently, but he didn't hear anything; what could be in the forest with them? He repressed a shudder at the thought of Romulus.

Shade's face was as stone, cold, unmoving. She closed her eyes. She said quietly, her voice calm and monotonis. "We are being hunted."

Shadow tried his best to stop his voice from quivering; "By... who? And where are your friends?" he asked nervously.

Shade didnt move, her voice didnt falter. "Run." SHe opened her eyes, now a glowing white. "Now."

Shadow hesitated, but he decided to obey her; he sprinted away, looking over his shoulder to see if Shade was coming.

Shade smiled fiendishly as her power took over. She leapt into the air as her body erupted in white fire, and she hung suspended there. As if on signal, a horde of shadowy wolves leapt from the bushes and screeched like demons. It was as if all of Hell had been emptied and unleashed upon the young wolf. SHade was unafraid, her fiendish grin never fading from her face as she threw herself into the angry swarm of buzzing demons.

Shadow stopped in his tracks; the screeching sounds he was hearing sent chills down his spine, causing his tail to bristle in horror. He turned around to see Shade fighting them; he wanted to help her or encourage her, but all he could do was stand there, hoping for the best.

White light flashed and the demon's dying screeches were terrible, like thousands of tiny nails on a chalkboard. As the evil little imps faded forever into darkness one by one, a red haze clouded Shade's vision. The Bloodwrath was upon her. SHe roared, the firey light around her flaring and exploding from her body, engulfing the entire clearing in a blinding white light.

Shadow's ears pinned to his head and he tucked his tail between his legs at the roar and bright light; although it was Shade making the sound, he was almost paralyzed with fright.

ooc: Violence pwns. Note that I am listening to Trapt sing Headstong while rping all this fighting!

bic: As the light dimmed, the clearing was empty. Things were floating, trapped in mid air by some unseeable force. Shade stood in the center of the clearing, the light around her gone.

(ooc: yeah, Shadow almost got killed once, and he's not the really 'violent' type; hopefully he'll be useful in some other way, though )

bic: Shadow stood in the same position, his entire body quivering with fright; his eyes were wide open, but he didn't even notice Shade walking up to him.
