HOUSE PARTY!!! LET'S BOOGIE!!!

Tears came to Shadow's eyes as he heard the beautiful song; "That song is so pretty," he said to her as they ran together.

Rikku looked at Shadow and said, "It's the song that Shade's father sang to her when she was a pup. She memorized every line, then taught it to me."

Shadow smiled warmly; "It's a really calming song," he said, shaking the tears from his face.

"Yeah. It is." Rikku looked ahead at the rapidly darkening sky. The day went by fast, as did the night. Rikku stood on top of a ridge, the wind ruffling her fur as she stared down at the plains.

Shadow went to join her, looking down at the vast expense of plains; a question came into his mind that he hadn't thought of. "What will your tribe say when you show up with me?" he asked.

Rikku looked at SHadow over her shoulder and said, "Dunno. We'll see." And with that she ran down the hill and stopped in front of a hole in the ground.

(ooc: It'll be funny if they all greet him in canine fashion XD )

bic: "Is that it?" asked Shadow as he reached the small hole.

"Yup." Rikku flattened herself against the ground and slithered through the hole.

(ooc: any chance that'll happen? X3 )

Shadow followed her, but when he tried to slither through the hole, he wasn't able to get all the way in; the hole was just small enough that his hindquarters got stuck, leaving his back legs, rump and tail exposed outside. "Hey Rikku, I'm stuck!" he cried, blushing in embarrassment.

Rikku turned around, grabbing hold of Shadow's paws and yanking him the rest of the way through. She sat next to him, looking at the large hollow. There were various tunnels leading to different dens, and in the center was a large stone. Rikku took a deep breath and said loudly, "Servatis a periculum!"

Shadow tilted his head in curiosity; he had never heard words like that before.

A booming voice echoed around the camp, "Servatis a malificum!" A large white wolf, bigger even than Shadow, emerged from the back of the rock. He was massive, with green eyes and spots under his eyes. Rikku bowed deeply, "Thanatos."

(ooc: How will they greet him? I don't know why I'm so keen on that happening to Shads XDD )

Shadow quivered under this huge wolf; looking over at Rikku, he mimicked her, bowing low to the white wolf.

Thanatos towered over the two young wolves, flicking his tail for them to sit up. "Rikku. Welcome home." Rikku sat up, her eyes shining with the utmost respect. "Glad to be home, sir." Thanatos' wise old eyes turned on Shadow, his battle scarred face completely devoid of emotion. "And who are you?"

Shadow slowly sat up, his eyes showing respect and fear at the same time; "My name is Shadow..." he said softly, lost for words at the size of Thanatos.

"Ah." Thanatos nodded to Shadow, "Then you are a visitor, yes?" He dipped his massive head gracefully, "Welcome to the Far Plain." He turned his head to Rikku. "And where is my daughter?"

Shadow closed his eyes and tucked his tail between his legs as he listened for Rikku's response.

Rikku tried not to cry, and did a fair good job as she choked out, "She's been taken." Thanatos bowed his head, and said, "I know this. Capitan came back and said you had run after Namine, but I thought you may have caught her." Thanatos let out a howl, "Everyone! Come out and welcome Rikku and her guest!" At his shout, wolves poured by the dozen out of the caves. Soon, there were about 2 dozen wolves and pups moving about the camp.

Shadow looked around in astonishment; he had never seen so many wolves in one place before!

Rikku smiled as pups dashed around her paws, and grabbed a little brown one up and ruffled his fur with her paws. "Lemmego! Lemmego!" Rikku laughed, "Take it easy, Keyla!" and set the small creature down. A delicate loooking ginger she-wolf came forward and nuzzled Rikku affectionately. "Rikku. Thank goodness, youre safe." Rikku laughed, "Mom, why wouldnt I be?" A pale grey she-wolf stood nearby, looking alot like Rikku. "Billie!" Rikku said, running over and touching noses with her sister.

Shadow extended his tail again so that he would not look too submissive, and slowly turned in a circle a couple of times, still amazed by what he saw.

Beneath SHadow, a small voice said, "Woah!"

Shadow stiffened up for a moment; he was startled by the voice, but since he had seen nothing come near him, he did not realize that it came from underneath him, so he looked around for its source.

Rikku's laugh echoed across the camp, and she pointed down with her tail.

Shadow looked down beneath him, unsure of what he would see.
