Shadow looked at her and blushed; "Thanks..." he said, trying to stay cool in his embarrassment. The plant that was covering his entire tail was starting to make his tail go numb.

Shadow got to his feet shakily; "Yeah, I think-" but as he took a step, his front legs gave way, sending him falling back to the ground.

"Oh you poor thing." Cinder said in a sympathetic voice. Well, it's getting dark. Do you think you can handle the dark by yourself? Or chould i stay?"

"well it is going to rain soon." Cinder said, so she dragged Shadow to the nearest tree, and curled up beside him. "Good night.......... *sigh*"

Shadow closed his eyes, getting ready to drift off to sleep; he noticed the wind had begun to pick up, so he curled his tail around the pair of them to shield them partially from the cold.

The morning came and everything was quiet. Cinder heard Shadow snoring so she proded him awake "Hay, it's another promising day of sun."

Shadow opened his eyes lazily, squinting from the light; "Wow, it's beautiful out right now," he said. He looked over at Cinder; "Thanks a lot for helping me," he said with a warm smile.

bic: Shadow's eyes widened a little; "Are you serious? I feel kind of guilty, not being able to repay you for saving and taking care of me; there must be something I can do to help," he said, lowering his ears slightly.

Shadow crouched down submissively, flattening his ears against his head; he was bigger than Cinder, but he knew that after last night's events, he wouldn't stand much of a chance if she got too frustrated with him. "I live in a small town called Nome; my dad, Balto, is a hero there," he said quietly.

Shadow blushed slightly; he got this reaction a lot. "Yeah, I'm his son; I just wander out occasionally," he said, covering his front paws with his tail as he sat there. His ears were still flattened submissively against his head.

Shadow blushed slightly; "It's just the annoyed look you had earlier; only two wolves have ever acted annoyed with me: my sister, who actually attacked me before warming up to me more; and her mate, who would have killed me if she hadn't stopped him," he said gravely. "So, whenever someone gets annoyed at me, that's why I become so afraid..." he said, looking at the ground with a somewhat ashamed expression.
